Display total donations collected

I was wondering if there was a way to have the total amount raised in donations displayed on a page (that's also updated after every contribution)?

I know that Squarespace keeps a record of all donations and wanted to know if that information can be accessed on a page through javascript. The idea here is to use code injection to embed the amount on an existing page.
