Missing image and dropdown menu on iPhone!

Hi,

For some bizarre reason - the image and dropdown menu (below left) are missing when viewing on my iPhone device!

Support said it must be my device but they're also missing from my friends iPhone too...

It happens on all the images in the store.

Two things to check:

• Is this a particular model of iPhone? It looks fine on mine 🙂
• Are you using the latest iOS? (13.6.1)

Thank you. Support said it was showing fine on 3 of their devices too.

I'm using iPhone 7.

No I'm not using the latest update. I was tired years ago of getting iPhone updates that constantly slow the phone down. My partner is also not updating their phone though.

But everything was working and displaying fine a day or two ago on my device. And its not affecting images on any other pages.

To check if this is related to your device's browser cache you could delete website data and then try again. Note that this will log you out of any websites you are signed into.

The exact steps will depend on your iOS version, but you'd typically go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data > Clear History and Data. After deleting the cached images, try accessing the page again and see if it works correctly.

Hi, yes did that many times already. It's also happening on firefox and chrome browsers on my iPhone. I'm installing the iOS update after all to check that.

Its also happening to old store pages I just turned on - again, missing the image and dropdown menu only.

But if other people can see it on their devices it can't be squarespace messing with code updates or my css or injection changes.

Update worked!

Which means Apple are pure evil!!!

Why would certain images and a dropdown menu stop showing if the phone doesn't get updated. That's just wrong.
