Create a Financial Calculator with Code

Hello and thanks for taking time to read this. I am trying to add financial calculators to my website. After doing some research I believe the way to do this on Squarespace is to embed/add specific code which will bring in the desired calculators. 

My questions are: 1)has anyone here done this before: added some form of text boxes for input to spit out the calculation output(aka a calculator) on their site? 

2)If so, which code did you use and find easiest to embed with Squarespace?

3)did you have coding experience prior to this or did you have to figure out the coding process - I have zero coding experience.
