How do I manipulate the CSS to achieve this design?

Hi, so I am attempting to redesign a cover page of a website but have no idea about how to go about doing this. I am going to have to use custom CSS to achieve the desired result. The nav bars and background image will stay the same but where it says Live life uplifted, the text beside it and the about us button I do not know how to do. Any help would be appreciated how to achieve this design pattern.
