dani
Site URL: https://danisturgisagency.com Hello, I am hoping I can get some help with my newly created website with Squarespace. When I search Bing or Google, for it nothing comes up. When I look at the SEO for the home page I can see the site title defined, but when I search for dani sturgis agency, nothing comes up. Both Bing and Google have verified the site. Can someone help me please? Link to comment
Susana_SQSP
Hi @dani, In what regards to the ranking of your pages (whether or not they appear in search results when you search for specific terms, for example or in which position they appear) this is entirely set by the search engine's algorithms. While there are measures you can take to help improve rank, there is no formula guaranteed to work. Squarespace has a help article which explains this in more detail and provide some great tips on increasing your site's visibility to search engines, though:Why doesn't my site appear in Google searches? dani
Hello, I have read that multiple times and still can't figure what I am doing wrong. Did you search for Dani Sturgis, hire a copywriter, Freelance copywriter, or any of the page titles on the web site to see if it pops up? It would be nice if someone was available to walk through where I am going wrong on my website Thanks, Dani Link to comment

Did you search for Dani Sturgis, hire a copywriter, Freelance copywriter, or any of the page titles on the web site to see if it pops up? Hi Dani! I do find you on page one of google for your name (that's called "branded search"). The other terms "hire a copywriter, freelance copywriter" are EXTREMELY competitive and so I'd target more narrow keywords and build out a content marketing plan that targets your exact, ideal audience. Also, your heading 1 on your homepage is "Wow your plate is full!" I'm betting these are not keywords you're targeting in your search strategy, so you'll want to think about how to balance weaving your target keywords into your headings while maintaining your copy's integrity, which is of course super important for a copywriter! Your about page does this much better (yay!) with the words freelance copywriter in the heading one. 👉 Original Squarespace Specialist, Squarespace user since 2007. 👋 Sign up for my weekly newsletter. 👩🏻💻 Book a strategy session over here.
