Avenue Template Index Links are unwanted Anchor Links?

Help please!

My Index page is here 'about':

When I click on the 'Sustainability' page from the image link in the bottom of the page it loads at the bottom of that page instead of the top. It is behaving like an anchor link but I can't seem to find how to edit it in this template. It doesn't happen every time and happens on the other pages sometimes as well 'Process' and 'Archive'.

Its an Avenue loading quirk. I get the same thing, especially if I move around inside the index quickly. That is one of the reasons I added a back to top arrow for viewers to get there if the page doesn't load at the top itself.

Hi there. I just had a client reach out about this same issue. The above is a good work around, but has anyone been able to solve the glitch? Or reached out to squarespace about it? The site I'm working on is www.lowegallery.com. Thanks in advance for any input. 🙂
