Payment Icons - Homepage

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I was looking to add payment icons to the footer of my homepage so my customer's can see which type of payments are be accepted on my website e.g. Visa, Mastercard ( I am currently registered with Stripe). Squarespace do no offer this at the moment so they have suggested I reach out on this forum to see if anybody has a code which  I could use.

Can anybody help?

Many thanks

Suzanne

There are essentially three ways to do this:

  • You can add an appropriate image in an Image Block (as @tuanphan suggested)
  • You can add the appropriate SVGs for the payment methods and chain them together with some simple HTML in a Code or Markdown Block.
  • You can use an icon font like FontAwesome and then use HTML to place the FA icons in a Code or Markdown Block

The specific code will depend upon the payment methods you want to advertise and the way you want them to look (colour/monochrome, flat, 3D, etc). Stripe offers different methods in different countries and some stores may use PayPal.

The site I designed uses Paypal and Stripe. I am by no means a web developer.

Add this code within the footer page.

Adjust position using the align="". PayPal and Stripe URL's link to UK/GB sites.

<!-- PayPal & Stripe Logo --><table border="0" cellpadding="" cellspacing="" align=""><tr><td align=""></td></tr><tr><td align="left"><a href="https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/paypal-popup" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.paypalobjects.com/webstatic/mktg/logo/bdg_secured_by_pp_2line.png" border="" alt="Secured by PayPal" width="159" height="55">
</a><a href="https://stripe.com/gb/payments" target="_blank"><img src="https://cdn.brandfolder.io/KGT2DTA4/at/v5bcwzcgcmgbp3676v3rg79q/Powered_by_Stripe_-_white.png" border="0" alt="Powered by Stripe" width="159" height="36"><div style="text-align:left"></div></td></tr></table><!-- PayPal & Stripe Logo -->
