Pre-Order for Digital Products

You cannot accept pre-orders for "digital" products because they are sent out immediately. However, during the pre-order period, you could add the product as a "service" product and take orders with payment.

Once the product is available, you can export the email addresses of the customers who placed orders to a Squarespace Campaigns email (or a manual email) to send them the digital product. Once available you can replace the ‘service’ product with a digital product as normal.
