More Unique Visitors than visits?

Hi everyone,

I was preparing a report for our site analytics when I came across this anomaly;

Does anyone have any Idea how this is possible? It was my understanding that the number of visits was the total?

I've seen this anomaly too. The Engineering team are aware of this issue and are currently working on it.

When you discover issues like this, I recommend you report them to Squarespace Customer Care for investigation. For future issues, you can reach out to them here.

I'm also seeing this on sites I'm managing.  In general, the analytics numbers and calculations aren't adding up.

Do we know whether the unique and total visit numbers are just reversed, or are both inaccurate?

It looks like the anomaly continues to exist 3 months later...

I'm having the same problem and no matter what date range I look at from the past year I'm seeing more unique visitors than visits.
