Old site description still in homepage code

Apologies if this query is in the wrong section. 

Essentially, when a colleague searched for me on Google, my site appeared with contrasting information - see screenshot:

I am in the process of moving house and relocating from Manchester to Birmingham however I updated my site description some time ago. 

When inspecting the code on the homepage/gallery, I've found the two elements which have the old description:

My questions are:

- why are these still appearing?

- and how can I get rid of them (so a Google search provides the up to date info)?

It takes quite a bit of time for old SEO text and information to clear itself out of search engines, doesn't happen overnight or even over a month. But it will at some point.
