Can you have a background image for your blog post?

Recommended Posts

Greetings,

I'm fairly new to squarespace and have spent the last few days trying to find a way to have a full width image background for my blog posts like you can have with regular texts blocks. So far to no avail. Is there a custom css code that lets me to that?

Thank you and kind regards,

Stefan

A full bleed image block in a  blog post in 7.1 is a standard option doesn't need code. Set content width for custom and move slider to 100 percent.

Thank you for your answer Derrick,

I know that I can have full bleed image block within the blog post, but I'll still have a block of just color and/or text above it, which doesn't look to my liking. I want the whole blog block to have a background image.

Hey tuanphan,

the site is not online yet - still in the basic design phase. I'll stick with colors for now. Thank you for your help.

Kind regards,

Stefan

But isn't is for the entire post, making all of the text full width, too? I just want to make the image full width. I don't see a content width on the individual image block.
