Hello,

I have created my portfolio (Website Password: Hellothere) but I have a URL issue.

This is what I would like to do:
Change the redirect link of this page: /home/switch to this URL /work-1/switch but I can't edit the URL in the page settings, only the slug! (See below)

How can I change the redirect link of my portfolio pages?

Thank you!

That is the only place you can change the URL, The slug is the url of the page and it is in the page settings. If the page is in a portfolio/index you can only change the last part of the slug, you cannot change it to be in a different portfolio. You can change the portfolio page url and the project page will change to reflect that change. In other words change portfolio page home to work2 and the page above will change to home2/switch.

Thank you for your answer.

I think I will have to change the theme or something because I have already created the sub pages and since I can't change the URL of these sub-pages, I would need to recreate them under "Home", which I won't do because too time-consuming.

It would be great if Squarespace allowed to change the URL or at least, to move sub pages freely...

Depends on the template, I can move pages in and out of an index page  using Avenue a 7.0 template.  The url adjusts itself accordingly, when I move it back it adds the sub address and  # to the url to make it a sub page. I can also display the page outside the index even when it is in it. Here is an example, most 7.0 sites, the address change  works the same way:

Page in the index

https://myrandomviews.com/views-images#/brookies-tea/

same page viewed on its own:

https://myrandomviews.com/brookies-tea

I can also move the page into a different index page If I wish.

Unfortunately my portfolio template does not allow me to do so but thank you for sharing. I thought it was not possible at all but turns out, it depends on the templates.

Hiya, my query seems similar and some high quality answers here! I created a site using Beaumont with a portfolio page (as home page portfolio page, with four gallery pages off that with text and other elements. Client now would like the four gallery pages to appear in top nav, i e. to be their own pages with independent URLs, not purely accessible through a portfolio landing page. Is there any way to copy/ somehow transform these P pages into normal Pages? Thanks for advice.
