Customising Navigation dropdown text colour on individual pages

Hey There, 

I'm wondering if there is a way of customising the navigation drop down text colour on some pages only, as some pages the text is the same colour as the dropdown background, so you can't see it. it seems to be working okay on most pages, but pages where I use a lighter background image for the header - it doesn't seem to work.

Does anyone have any solutions for this? I would be happy to change the background of the dropdown menu on these particular pages that are not visible, if that was a work around.
