Need to get rid of padding on image block!

hi squarespace community, 

need help on something - please see 'creative' page on website : www.handford.com

the padding on all sides of the Mission and Vision statement image blocks is way too much. I'd like it to be just a few pixels on all sides but I think it's more like 30px right now. 

i tried adding some custom css with the following:

.sqs-block.image-block {
 padding: 5;
}

but this doesn't do anything to those image elements i mentioned. please help!

@tuanphan this didn't do anything the images I mentioned. I see that this effects all image blocks on the page, but the images I mentioned are still really small. 

is it the image size and not a padding issue? thanks for your help

The Mission and Vision statements are images and they contain too much whitespace in the original image files. You need to remove this before uploading the images to Squarespace, otherwise they'll be almost unreadable on smaller devices.

Also, it's worth mentioning that it would be better to add these with actual text and a custom font, rather than using images. If you must use images, ensure you add alt text (by adding hidden captions) so that search engines and visitors with disabilities can read the text. The current alt text ("Handford-Mission5 (1).png" won't help your SEO.
