lazdogs
Site URL: https://www.copperhead.media/portfolio Hi everyone, I was glad to see there was a dedicated "project" feature on 7.1 to best display my portfolio projects, but I am finding limits in potentially being able to filter projects by category or tags. For example, I would like to be able to have a category menu bar above my projects where you can select certain project types, such as "graphic design" or "portrait photography" to sort and display the relevant items. Would this be difficult to work around? or to custom code? or perhaps I'm just missing something. Thanks! webbroi 1 Link to comment

webbroi
Agree, most of these plugins created when users just lost patience. There is a balance squarespace must weigh between easy to use and many features. Squarewebsites.org Plugins. Webbroi.com Growth Marketing Link to comment
codeexist
This is why Squarespace is such a useless platform. Im moving all of my clients off SS once they all expire. Its 2022 and basic UI / UX is always overlooked, but our hands are tied to either use their limited templates or start from scratch which most clients that I use SS for cannot afford. If they could I would put them on Wordpress or anything other than Squarespace. Edited August 3, 2022 by codeexist Link to comment

Begona
I acquired a Filter plugin because of the lack of filtering options in Portfolios, only to realize that I cannot use Javascript on a Personal Plan. I agree: we shouldn't need to pay for external plugins for such basic functions. 😞 Link to comment
