Codepen HTML CSS Illustration Customization for Website

Hi folks first time poster.  Ive researched the Squarespace Forum for answers to my question but I didnt see any.  So I'm trying to use the code from https://codepen.io/chrisota/pen/OJJbdbR#code-area to embed on my squarespace website.  I want to change the background color to white.  I couldn't get the HTML and CSS to work but I was able to embed the iframe in the code block, but them had the problem of getting rid of the frame with all the script.  Can someone help with identifying how I can add the hml/css/JS code to the Code block. Thanks in advance

Shouldn't be using an iframe for this. You will need to use a code block.

Hey many thanks.  I tried using the codeblock with HTML and CSS but unfortunately couldn't get it to work.   The website  is currently under development.

Any insight you can provide would be great

Do you have a business/commerce account with squarespace. You can only use code injection with those plans.

Feel free to stop in and check out the many mircobrand watches we have and to see the setup.  I do indeed have a business/commerce account. 

The HTML is written in pug. So I think that would need to be converted first.
