Basic Question! How to make image hover overlay turn color not gray

Hi,

the current design has it going gray when hovering over images. I want to make this hover overlay colored. How can I do this?

Any help is appreciated.

So its not really a gray overlay, its just making the image semi transparent.

The only real fix is the change the background color from what to something else.

Replace red with whatever you want.
