JSPhotography
I'm attempting to set up a website to sell digital prints of my photography. However, I'm finding that Squarespace's ecommerce options don't provide me with what I need (I think). Ideally, I would like visitors to be able to add photos to their cart directly from my Gallery Page. Attachment 01 is a snip I took from another website that I came across that is similar to what I'd like to incorporate into my website. As of now, I would have to number each picture in the Gallery Page (Attachment 02), and then add corresponding numbers to each digital product on my Store Page (Attachment 03). This is far from ideal. Also, when I add each photo as a product on the Store Page, the product page does a weird crop of the photos, so the user can't even see the full image that they are purchasing. I'm looking for any kind of help - anyone have similar issues? Workarounds? Another option that I'm not considering? Any help at all. Thanks. Link to comment

JonJonJon
you can manually override the ratio crop with CSS. someone else helped me with that a while ago, but the method i have means it can look pretty messy if thumbnails aren't all the same ratio. I haven't been able to work the code to have a fixed custom ratio with correct image scaling/cropping to suit I actually do the number thing on the gallery that you mentioned. But this was always my intention. In lightbox mode this banner appears if you hover over an image (or there's a clickable info icon for devices) Link to comment
