Centering Poster Text on Homepage

I tried using a previous answer to this question but to be expected the CSS didn't work on my site. On my homepage I'm looking to center both the text and button on my poster block images. Can somebody help me with this?

Also, when I'm on another page the header drop down doesn't work anymore. is that CSS related?

Custom CSS (will change for all poster images):

.image-block-poster-text-alignment-left .sqs-block-image .design-layout-poster .image-card > * {
    text-align: center !important;
}
