charmstrong
Site URL: https://www.oruspace.co/wellness-ready The announcement bar seems to be hidden behind the Nav bar on all but the page given as the site URL above, home page etc, the announcement bar is hidden. Probably hidden by the header image somehow. Can you see what I can do to fix this? Link to comment
derricksrandomviews
Its not hidden, its disconnected from your site except for one page. I think it has to do with which page is enabled as your home page. Is the following your home page? https://www.oruspace.co/wellness-ready You may have to be on the home page, then disable your announcement bar and enable it again. Link to comment

That was my first thought too but to no avail. That's not my homepage, this is the home page: https://www.oruspace.co When I enable/disable the bar the background image shifts, which suggests to me that the bar is there, but hidden behind the nav. UPDATE: I can see it in mobile and tablet but not on desktop, and it is below the nav. - The problem to solve is to get the bar to appear in desktop proportions, secondly for it to appear above the nav. derricksrandomviews
Have you added any CSS code? The banner is pushing the nav bar to the top of the page and I also think the announcement bar is hiding behind the nav bar. I have two Brine sites and the bar works fine, but I don't have images in the header, but on the welcome page, the first section of the index. Solution paul2009 Posted July 20, 2020 Solution Share Posted July 20, 2020 21 hours ago, charmstrong said: The announcement bar seems to be hidden behind the Nav bar @derricksrandomviews is right. This is not a bug, it is being caused by the following Custom CSS that someone has manually added: .Header--bottom.Header--overlay,.tweak-header-bottom-overlay-on-index-gallery .Header--bottom.Header--index-gallery { position: fixed !important; background-color: #fafafa } When you remove this, the announcement bar will function correctly. charmstrong 1 Improve your online store with our extensions.About: Squarespace Circle Leader since 2017. derricksrandomviews
Thanks Paul. I am still trying to learn how to do that, inspect a page and discover code that is and sometimes is not doing what you want it to do. Link to comment
Nano
Having the same issue. in the squarespace editor I can see the announcement bar, it also appears in the mobile version but it disappeared of the desktop one. No idea what happened. Link to comment
Nano
An update, if I edit the announcement bar and save it, then it displays again. But when I go to the either the mobile or the desktop version and click on the "x" to the right of the bar to hide it, and then refresh the page the bar doesn't come back again. I would think the bar should reappeared everytime you either move to a different page or refresh the browser. Link to comment

You can look for the code as long as you don't make any changes and then click Save, you should not cause a problem by just looking. Find my contributions useful?
