Ad Subscribers via Webhook/API etc

Is there a way to push subscribers who are coming via an external platform (eg Mobile app) into Squarespace mailing list? We do it now with Mailchimp... but have switched to Squarespace - and are hoping we can push new users who opt into the newsletter to be added to our Squarespace Mailing list.
Seems to be lots of ways to get stuff out of squarespace - but not a lot of ways to get things in.

Any thoughts: eg Zapier, custom programming, google sheet push to squarespace, etc
