Guest
Hello community, I’ve encountered a weird bug with png’s. Some of them, probably only those that use a greyscale model, won’t show up in Safari, but instead look black. Sometimes you can even see how Safari loads the picture correctly and then switches to a black image. However the problem is inside the png. And it is not inside the original png, it only occurs through the formatting that Squarespace does with the picture. I can track it back by downloading the picture and it looks good in every program, except for Safari; however if I save it without changes but as a colour RGB, Safari opens it well. I upload it again and Squarespace changes it again and it becomes black again. Can anyone think of a solution to it? Both png’s are attached. Thank you very much. Link to comment
Guest
I’m sorry. Uploading the pictures into this forum converted them once again… So there is no difference anymore between those png’s. The two different versions can be downloaded here: https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ah_WmTSNNe0yg6lgp_UKScpe6kK1-Q?e=ppPRU5 The problematic picture can also be seen here: https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5eadd4616930384dc8b01840/1594830006218-5ZOS8PTJ81SM532UKJ2S/ke17ZwdGBToddI8pDm48kNZId3q5_syf0DVhJ6rMoIRZw-zPPgdn4jUwVcJE1ZvWQUxwkmyExglNqGp0IvTJZUJFbgE-7XRK3dMEBRBhUpykt8JhweoVBFfiKwbdE39ZFIuBM234m_LupRK6whhq7ggHRzRs3ITAZ6cOqAZG0rk/Branding%2BRhythm%2BDesign%2BStudio%2B1.png?format=500w Link to comment
