Error when saving edited products

This comes up for me sometimes, and its really hit or miss. I wait a bit to try again and it might save, or it might not, and I need to cancel the edit.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

After a lot of trial and error, it only happens when I try to delete addition information text.

I've resorting to just creating all of my products again from scratch

There’s a known bug in Squarespace - there must always be a text block in the additional information tab, otherwise the product will not save. If you have difficulties saving, add an empty Text Block in this section. 

I'm also encountering an error message: I've tried duplicating an existing product and creating a new product from scratch, and still get this error message. I've tried different browsers, shut down and relaunched browsers, all to no avail. This is the first time I've run into this problem.

Look at the URL (in green text) in the Marketing section just above the Checkout section in your screenshot and ensure it is valid. Click EDIT to change the URL.

Done that - URL has no underscores or odd characters, yet still receive this error message.

Then I recommend you get in touch with Squarespace Customer Care and ask them to help you to troubleshoot this. At this time of day you should be able to contact them for an interactive online chat.
