Footer logo resizing issue

Question

Posted (edited)

Site URL: https://www.qualitycupofcoffee.com/consulting

Hello,

Adding the final touch of my website, I am facing an issue with my footer. I added an image in my footer (which is my logo). When I am editing it, everything seems fine however when I visit the page the width of the image drastically change making it unable to see the full image.

Do you have any ideas why ? It was happening before I added the "floating effect".

Thanks,
Manon

Free Squarespace 7.1 Anchor Link and Accordion Plugins available here!

If I replied to one of your questions with code, it was either CSS or jQuery.

To add CSS, go to Design -> Custom CSS

jQuery needs some additional steps. Head here: https://code.jquery.com/ and click on minified, under jQuery 3.x and copy that code into Squarespace.

After you put that code into the code injection section in Squarespace, you can add the code I supplied. The code from me will need <script> added before it and </script> added after it (only for jQuery).

There are two places that you can add the code, one is site wide (adds to all pages). Settings -> Advanced -> Code Injection

The other is for a specific page (adds to one page only). Pages -> Gear Icon next to the page -> Advanced

It works !! It's pretty amazing, thanks !
Same I used to have "square" logo there but this I changed to my rectangle one, the footer area went all cray cray.

Yeah, I am not sure what is causing it. It honestly shouldn't take that much code to get it straightened out.

I am probably overlooking a simpler fix. @tuanphan any advice on this?

Edit: Dug a little more, it looks like this is all you need, and it will center up better.

REMOVE THE OTHER CODE I SENT AND REPLACE WITH THIS:

#footerBlocksMiddle .image-block-wrapper {
    padding-bottom: 180px !important;
}

#footerBlocksMiddle .thumb-image.loaded {
    left: auto !important;
    max-width: 100% !important;
}

Here's a few other things that will help with the footer looking more centered (optional, if you like the look):

#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1593882225546_4979 {
    margin-left: 0px !important;
}

#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1594567380050_6356 {
    text-align: right;
}
