Issue with images not displaying - 7.1

Hi all,

Has anyone experienced the issue in 7.1 where images don't display?

They upload fine, appear on the page, but then at a later date when the page is reviewed the image is missing and is replaced with an error symbol like in the attached examples.

This happens across the website and in galleries and in stand alone images - sometimes when I upload the image again it works fine but then when I revisit the site again at a later date the issue is happening across a number of random images (either the same or new ones)

Any thoughts gratefully received.

I am also having this problem - am still building my website - have not yet published. Has Squarespace answered this?

I am having a similar issue with several of my photos; they will seem to upload fine, but then suddenly not be there. Others I have had no problem with.

Does anyone on here or from Squarespace have any insight on this.

It appears to be random, with different photos appearing to be affected at different times. And some days no photos affected at all.

HELP!!!! I'm having this exact issue as well. My client's site needs 15 gallery blocks, with each gallery containing 40 photos. I batch down-res'd all the photos to 800 pixels wide or tall. The size of each photo varies between 550-750 KB. (not big). AND YET... this is a real problem that I see has been posted about since April. Need to get a solution as the galleries is the point of the entire website. https://dcstones.squarespace.com/

This happened to me earlier today.  I loaded 1 or 2 at a time and it seemed to go away.
