Tucker
I am looking at adding a forum to my Squarespace site and I am thinking about using Flarum. It looks like it is a simple PHP/MySQL application and runs on any low-end shared host or VPS. I am wondering if this is easily hosted on squarespace along with my website or if it would be much better to create a subdomain and host it somewhere else and just link back to my squarespace site? IdahoHSA
Sorry, I don't have an answer, but I have the same question. Did you go ahead with Flarum and, if yes, how's it working? Link to comment

padavick
I also want to integrate a members-only forum on my site: www.illustratorsforhire.com Link to comment
lauratommasina
Hello, has anyone here managed to integrate a forum to their website? I am looking to do the same but I wonder if there are costs involved if you want a single sign on? Link to comment
PaulBThomas
I'm also seeking to do the same. One solution is to add "website toolbox" which allows for seemless integration OR one could host a wordpress forum (there are many forum plugins available for wordpress and create a subdomain that attaches to your present site. JenTerpstra
When I started looking at Flarum, I was automatically directed to use FreeFlarum which is a free service that is supposed to make setup easier. They host the forum for you, and you're supposed to be able to add a CNAME DNS records to use your own subdomain, but I haven't quite been able to make that work yet. Link to comment
