Barbosa - Make footer the same colour as preceding block

Hello All,

I've done a search, and I couldn't find the answer to this question on the forum, but I do apologise in advance if I've missed it being covered elsewhere.

I'd like for the footer in the Barbosa theme to take the background colour of the preceding block, similar to the way that you can make the header take the background colour of the following block. Is this possible ?

Before anyone asks for a link to the site, I don't have one - I've just been messing with the default template - and thus the question applies to that.

RIght now it's a question as to if I use it or not.

You need to use JavaScript to achieve this. Complex.

You can use CSS to set footer color manually on each page

Very complex.

Or you can set color manually on each page with this code, add to Page Settings > Advanced . Header

  footer.sections .section-background {
    background: black !important;
}
</style>

Thanks for the reply and suggestion @tuanphan - but that code just allows me to set one colour for the footer across all pages - I would like to change the footer colour/text depending on which page I'm on - do you have any suggestions for that?

Page Header, not Code Injection Header

@MDouglas I can implement a JavaScript solution for this so the process is automated.
