7.1 Add hover over text in main navigation menu

The hover effect is not currently available for all 7.1 sites. Is anyone able to send a code my way that could give me this feature? I am looking to have the classic "fade" whenever the navigators mouse hovers over any of the pages in the main navigation, as well as in the drop down menu. Thank you kindly.
