Increase padding for blog post section with Stanton Template

Does anyone know how to increase the padding of the blog post section. For my main page, I would like the main section and the blog to align. I've been trying to find a way to increase the padding only for the blog post section but I've been unsuccessful. I also like to remove the image block on the left but I can't seem to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! 

Padding top or padding left/right?

To remove image on left, add this to Home > Design > custom CSS

    display: none;
}

    width: 100% !important;
}
