Additional database functionality

Hi Everyone!

I'm just looking for advise on whether or not squarespace is able to manage something I'm looking to do, if not how I might be able to go about doing it, and if it's just generally a good idea?

I'm trying to build a website related to coffee sales. I havn't done much like this before but I assume if a customer makes an account their stored in a database managed on a squarespace server? I'd like to also be able to manage roasters in such a database. I'd like to store information like the roasters primary email, bean selection, their business name, etc. Can I easily make such a custom database in squarespace?
