VAMICreations
Site URL: https://www.vamicreations.com Hello all, I have a question regarding the Markdown blocks and adding the nofollow coding. I've done the coding that others here have recommended multiples times (my entire site (https://www.vamicreations.com) is filled with these and I have never had an issue with them till now). About a week ago, every time I started either changing something small (even deleting a space or adding one) in a markdown block of already posted articles or even creating a new post and using the same exact code for the nofollow affiliate links, all nofollow links show to <a data-preserve-html-node="true" href= link and the rest of the code from other nofollow links...I am stumped as I have talked with Squarespace help who has checked coding and everything on their end and not found anything wrong - i.e. it renders fine for them, even on my site. On my end, I have cleared any browsers I have used of caches, cookies, and history, restarted my computer, restarted the router, re-cleared all browsers on my computer, tried the iPad and my computer again and it's still doing the same thing. Thoughts on what else I could do to fix this? I have not been able to do updates for over a week now or post new articles with anything markdown because of this and would greatly appreciate any assistance. 🙂 Thank you and looking forward to hearing thoughts on what I can do to fix this. Fernlover
Ahhh, it the-- target="blank";> attribute. Removing the semicolon fixed it. I thought there was a semicolon there but I must be wrong, no semicolon. Yay!! Link to comment
VAMICreations
Thanks! It hasn't yet and I've checked through the links but for me there wasn't a semicolon so still working on it. 🙂 Will put on here what the fix was whenever it is. Thanks! Michele Fernlover 1 Link to comment
