Developer Mode Won't Revert

Tried to revert/turn off developer mode by clicking REVERT button on DELETE TEMPLATE / REVERT SITE popup window on Settings --> Advanced --> Developer Mode, screen flashes, and developer mode will not turn off. Frustrating Squarespace experience.
