Why 48–72 Hrs for DNS update?

Has SS support responded to anyone? Having same issue with propagation. Third day nothing. GoDaddy and Google take 10 min

I was also switched over to this site by Google. Seemed fine when I wasn't using the domains but once I decided to use them and update the nameservers to point elsewhere.... 4 days later nothing. I was so mad after 24 hours I immediately transferred one domain to another service. I left one here to see how long it'd take just for kicks and I'm mad at Google moving our domains here. It's the worst.

I am experiencing a nightmare with this delay for propagations.

Worse than that, my domain expired due to payment failure (and this was not reported to me), all the rules were removed, I had to create them all again, and now I'm anxiously waiting for propagation.

Just linked a site that is hosted on Siteground. I believe they previously had their site set up with Wordpress so there is still an older site that is active. I haven't used Siteground before this. In the past, I have only used sites hosted on Squarespace and I believe that was basically instantaneous. Is it really likely to take 72 hours? All of my "records found" popped up right away (assuming that is a good sign) but it is still showing me the old site.

I have been waiting 48hrs so far for a nameserver update so far, and it hasn't propagated yet.
This is absolutely ridiculous.  What decade is it?

I wouldn't advise anyone working with MS Outlook to have a hosted domain with Squarespace. It's extremely challenging to get any support. I continually get messages that no one is available. 72 hours to update a DNS is unheard of and makes any development a nightmare. They just don't care. I will be moving all my domains over the Christmas break to minimize disruption, but it's gone from bad to worse.

wow did I screw up. I assumed google handing off to squarespace was at least an okay move for me. I came from godaddy because their api requirements were not satisfactory to me. Never would have assumed propagation would be an issue with any of todays dns servers. ridiculous!

migrating to cloudflare right now cuz squarespace and this transition is absolutely trash.. google domains worked flawlessly.. been weeks and I still can't add a stupid cname record and get it to propagate.. squarespace you are trash.. and you are fired!

Squarespace is by far the worst hosting company I've been unfortunate to work with in nearly 3 decades of doing this. Google domains was fine. Godaddy was fine. GMX was fine. Every other registrar and hosting service going back to 1997 has been fine. I would've been happy to leave two of my domains here that transferred automatically if they had a basic semblance of service that has been available with basic hosting sites since the beginning of the century.

It's been over 48 hours after transferring my domains away because whatever TTL they automatically set and would not let me change myself (much higher than my Google domains) is still not expired. Do yourself a favor if you read this and get your request in to drop this provider ASAP.
