kalyquarles
Site URL: https://www.marykatemcdevitt.com/work#/part-of-the-progress/ Hello, hello! I am super new to Squarespace with no experience building a website. (Sorry if the terminology is off, this clearly isn't my day job! 😜) I really love how this website is set up and I'd like to kinda follow her example to set up my own content. I am curious - is this an example of a default gallery page? And is this a custom page that's been set up with the various blocks? Is there something I can look at in the code to see how a page is setup? I'm also starting with the Avenue template. Thanks so much - I'm going to attend a newbie webinar and keep watching videos, but appreciate any direction or links to articles! Link to comment

derricksrandomviews
All three links appear to be  pages in an index page. The pages have gallery blocks. The first one has an image block followed by a slideshow, and then the thumbnails are for the other pages in the index. 2nd link. Also a  page with image blocks, I say this because the images in a gallery page in the index  are always stacked when using the Avenue template. this page is also in an index. The # sign in the page url indicates that. 3rd link also page with gallery and or image  blocks in an index. All pages appear to be default layouts, some spacers and padding adjustments may have been used. it is possible that an index page can have multiple images in the header, however it doesn't look like this was done. I looked at all the pages outside the index as well. Best use of Avenue I have seen, great images and believe me I know that template. I have built three sites using it. Any questions about any other pages, I think I can answer. my random views derrick Lee parker     Link to comment
kalyquarles
Thank you both - incredibly helpful! I was just using the default pages that came with the Avenue template, so I'll be sure to get a little more creative. 🙂 Link to comment
