Lightbox captions only?

Thanks for letting me know, for non-Cirlce 7.1 users, there are actually only 3 kind of gallery layouts that support lightbox: Gallery sections: Simple - Gallery sections: Strips - Gallery sections: Masonry.

It is essential that people should know which gallery layout they are using to choose correct snippet for different selectors

When opening my images in lightbox my captions disappear after a few seconds. Is it possible to keep them there?

Here i am using Simple Grid gallery. 

I was hoping that when the lightbox opens, it shows the photo on left side, followed by the caption on the right, as black text on a solid white background. Also it should switch to vertical stack on mobile. 

Can any one please help me?
