Limited Formatting Options on Portfolio Page

Hello! 

I am creating a new website for my business and have decided I would like to use a Portfolio page as the main homepage, but I'm struggling to get it quite how I want it. 

I want to link to around 30 different projects - ideally I would like to lay them out in coloumns (three coloumns of ten), however it only lets me have them 'inline' or 'stacked'. The stacked selection is centered and as far as I can tell it won't let me split into coloumns. 

Also I have currently selected hover: follow cursor - but I was wondering it's possible to move the hover:fixed image from the centre of the screen?

You can create new page > add Gallery Section > Enter title, des, url to project in portfolio, instead of Portfolio page
