Domain Name Transfer - Host CNAME

Recommended Posts

Site URL: http://www.sankahscents.co.uk

Good morning,

I transferred my domain from EKM domains to Squarespace and received the confirmation email to say it was complete. The website wont load and when I checked the DNS details there is only one CNAME. The CNAME with the unique code is missing. My domain is now hosted by squarespace, i've checked EKM domains and it is empty. How do i find the unique host code to add the CNAME to point to verify.squarespace.com ?

Did you figure this out? My unique CNAME code is also missing from Squarespace. It is located in my GoDaddy DNS Records, strangely, but I don't know how because within my Squarespace DNS Settings, only the www CNAME exists.

My site works fine but it still matters because I'm having an issue elsewhere and the Squarespace support people keep telling me the missing CNAME is the reason, and I need to add it into my GoDaddy DNS. But it already IS located in my GoDaddy DNS Records. The place it is actually missing from is Squarespace

We are having the same issue with our site that is hosted by Register.com. I've confirmed with Register.com that all DNS setting are correct on their end. We even went through the Squarespace instructions step by step with the Register.com tech support. Our previous website was working fine and then we switched everything to a new template. Any insight into this issue would be welcome.

Thanks!

You'll need to provide details of the domain name.
