CSS Font Customization

Hello!  I am trying to change both Header 1 font as well as the navigation.  I've entered the code as several has suggested without any luck (specifically Header 1 is not taking).  Any direction would be greatly appreciated.  Below is the code I used and font has been uploaded:

If the code you used didn't work, you can try add !important

eg: font-family: 'BonViatSerif !important;
