Website Padding

I'm looking to decrease the space between my navigation and the first piece of content on each page. In other words - I'm looking to lessen the height of the entire websites padding. I've tried a series of different CSS lines and I cannot quite figure it out. Any help would be amazing! Thanks!

Found the answer through a friend:

    padding-top: 0px;
    padding-bottom: 6.6vmax;
}
