Change default button colour / transparency

Hi all,

I'm trying to change the default register button on my home page so that it has 50% opacity. Quite new to squarespace, but did some digging online and got the Block Identifier. At the moment I have:

#block-1401ee8a97f467ac462e
 .sqs-block-button-element .sqs-block-button {
 background: rgba(0,0,0,0.5)
}

But this doesn;t seem to be doing anything so I assume I have the wrong element - tried to follow a tutorial online and these are the elements coming up when I click Inspect, so not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks
