amandapaterson
Site URL: http://easternhousesetouts.com.au Hi I have bought my domain name over from another company as I have made my own website. The Website was live 13th May, but when you search on the domain name it is still bringing up information from my old website in Google. Is it normal for Google not to do any updates for over a week? tuanphan
It can take several months to years for Google to delete them (I have encountered some cases for personal sines). You can login to Google Search Console and delete those links. Email me if you have need any help (free, of course.). Answer within 24 hours. Or send to forum message Contact Customer Care - Learn CSS - Buy me a coffee (thank you!) Link to comment
Susana_SQSP
Hi amandapaterson, Considering what you are describing, I'd recommend that you ask Google to re-index your site. You can do this by first verifying your site using Google Search Console, if you haven't done so yet, which Squarespace has an help article for here: Verifying your site with Google Search Console That article also has a section outlining how can you ask Google to re-index your site. As a note, the amount of time it takes for the re-indexing of your site to take effect, it's entirely dependent on Google and outside of Squarespace control. Link to comment
