How to add grid/thumbnails to the end of slideshow gallery?

Hi 

I am using the Wexley template, I've had it for a few years and I'm trying to change a few things, the default gallery layout is a Grid then you can click on each individual image and click through. I would like to have the opposite, to start with one image in a slideshow and then end on a grid of all the images at the end? Does anyone know of the best way to do this? 

I tried creating a blank page and then inserting a custom slideshow but then how can I insert a grid (or thumbnail view of the images at the end)

Any help greatly appreciated

The only way I can think to do this is put a slideshow on a page, the last image in the show has a click thru content url to another page with a gallery block laid out in a grid both pages using the same images. Second one is in the unlinked section of your website.
