BRINE - Photo Image on blog post

Hi there!

I really like the Diary concept on the Brine template and prefer to not have a photo (so I purposely do not include it as a Thumbnail Image of the post).  However, if I include one or more images in the body of the post, one of them is selected as the Thumbnail image.  Perhaps this is as designed, but I prefer no image.  Is there a way to prevent this from happening?
