blog comment log-in browser compatibility

I'm running a blog with comments enabled. Currently, I am unable to log-in to make comments when using Firefox in order to comment through a non-guest account. Log-in attempts direct me back to the log-in page. I was ready to accept this issue but then found that other users and myself are able to create or log-in to a pre-existing account when using Chrome. I'm wondering if this has something to do with my firefox settings or compatibility between squarespace and firefox (and potentially other browsers) in general. Thank you!
