Hey, is there a way to get the product categories navigation bar on the side in 7.1 like in the Marta theme in 7.0

Yes. Whilst viewing your store's Product List Page, click EDIT and then click EDIT SECTION.

When the options appear, scroll down to CATEGORIES TYPE and select Sidebar.
