Squarespace Customer Support should always be your first stop for questions about your site or account. You can reach out to them here

They aren't getting back to me very quickly so I figured I'd attempt to ask the question here and see if anyone else has had this problem and what happened to fix the issue

I understand, especially as online chat has reduced hours. However, it is impossible for us to troubleshoot this particular issue because we cannot logon to your site.

Check the order reference number. If someone legitimately placed an order via your Squarespace website, you will see the order number:

  • in the Orders panel
  • in an email entitled "A New Order Has Arrived"
  • in the payments panel of your payment provider (Stripe or PayPal)

If you cannot locate these, the order is unlikely to have been processed. I would suggest you wait until you have spoken to Squarespace before accepting a screenshot as evidence of an order.
