rekha.garton
Site URL: https://www.rekhagarton.com/learn Hello, I'm trying to figure out the best way so my customers can spread the costs of buying one of my digital products? They are on the pricier side for my target market but I would love to offer the option of spreading the costs over a couple of months rather than them doing one big payment. I have paypal and stripe set up but neither seem to give me the option. I know Klarna is a service but isn't available on SS yet, is there any other one I'm completely missing? Thanks in advance. paul2009
Squarespace has been slow to recognise the demand for buy now, pay later services like Klarna, and as you say, it therefore isn't available yet. One workaround is to embed an alternative commerce solution. However, do bear in mind that certain products may be excluded, for example digital products. Update February 2021: Squarespace added Afterpay as an option in the US, Australia and New Zealand. PayPal Pay-in-3 is available in the UK. Featured Comment Jo_SQSP Posted February 25, 2021 Featured Comment Share Posted February 25, 2021 Hi @rekha.garton, Afterpay, a similar 'buy now pay later' payment processor, is now available on eligible plans! sruss76
Be aware that digital products are one of several products that Stripe does not allow for the use of Afterpay. I thought I would activate Afterpay on my store and saw a notice that I don't qualify. Digital goods are in Stripe's list of product restrictions for transacting with Afterpay. I sell both digital and tangible products. See https://stripe.com/afterpay-clearpay/legal - item #7 Edited February 25, 2021 by sruss76 Link to comment

They had my business incorrectly categorized as computer software. They updated it for me via chat. Had to wait a few hours for the change to take affect & now I have the option to toggle on! Finally ! 😁 Best of luck! Link to comment
