Creating manual pyramid URL structure

Hi,

Can we create a manual pyramid URL structure by just editing the URL slugs?

Eg 

Home Page - level 0 URL = /

Category - level 1 URL = /category

Sub category - level 2 URL = /category/sub-category 1 etc

The index & folders dont do quite what we want in that respect.

Wanted to chekc thats OK, doesnt mess with the site maps etc
