Anyway to have different height banners?

I am trying to find a work around to get different sized banners on the Jones Template.  

Due to the responsive design, i have two different banners for mobile and desktop.  The “medium” sized banner looks perfectly sized on mobile, and the large looks best on desktop.  

My thinking was that I could simply add a full bleed image instead of a banner and get the same effect.  Is there a code to make an image full bleed, other than just the thumbnail/banner route?

You can add image & share url. We can take a look, to see if can set image fullwidth with some code.
