Hi guys! I was a wedding photographer for 16 years but this year I’ve transitioned fully over to property photography and landscape art photography. I’m also an average level programmer, big time orchid grower (250!) and about to start building and selling 3D-printer orchid products.

Here’s my main site for landscape photography which does have a bit about my orchid growing:

Hi, guys! Excited to join this group. I'm the Content Manager for a soft plastic fishing bait manufacturer and shoot all the product for our product catalog, online store, and advertising, but in my "free time" I'm a food writer and photographer. Like a lot of you, I'm in a transitional stage and I'm looking to move toward shooting commercially for people in the food and beverage industry.

My food blog/photography portolio site is: http://www.foodnwhine.com/

Great idea, I'm a full-time professional wedding and corporate events photographer based in Brisbane, Australia. Like many others here I suspect, I offer squarespace 'website setup' and marketing consultancy to small businesses (often with photography as the centrepiece) under a brand called Locus Focus www.locusfocus.com.au and then I run my photography business under www.chrisjack.com.au. Both sites are SS 7.0. I have been using Acuity Scheduling for my bookings and entire workflow for the photography for the past three years, and it hasn't failed me yet!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, being able to fall back to website client work has been a lifesaver.

Would love to start some discussions about best practices and/or different approaches for photography websites on SS.

Hi all! I'm a photographer and web designer based in Stockholm, Sweden. The last 15 years I've been photographing Harley-Davidson motorcycles and events for a Swedish magazine, but since a couple of years I also do other photo gigs, including drone photography (DJI Phantom 4 Pro and Mavic Air 2) and 360° virtual tours (Ricoh Theta Z1). My brand is OneManWork and this is my web site

Hi everyone - great idea for a topic!

I started my product photography business in 2012 and built up to running my own studio in London since 2015. I specialise in product and lifestyle photography for the design and craft industry. I work with my partner Natasha and a regular stylist to create concepts, source props and plan to lighting/style of each shoot. We cover everything from ceramics, glass and textiles to furniture, beauty/wellness and fashion accessories.

In the first year of my work I found many clients wanted websites, I asked a friend in the US and he recommended Squarespace - never looked back!

It's been so beneficial being able to handle stills, video, animation and create the sites, we can pretty offer full service agency type work for a fraction of the cost. I often shoot and create the site for the same client, a great example is the ceramicist Sue Pryke: https://www.suepryke.com/ who was my first client, we have updated the site design/template several times.

I also work as a trainer and educator, both for photography and Squarespace. Recently this has been through Zoom and other web platforms which is fine for us, although I do miss going to shows and events here.

My photography work is all on www.yeshen.uk

FYI: On Monday June 22, I will be hosting a Circle AMA on Getting the most out of your images on Squarespace in the Circle Forum. Look out for the post, I think it's going live tomorrow (Mon 15) so you can ask me your questions for a week and then I will post answers on Mon 22 - should be fun!

Hi everybody!

I'me very happy to share with you all a brand new creative project we have just launched.

It's name is Indómada Studio, and we offer comprehensive creative services for wildlife photographers

We are based in Spain and for now the web it's only in spanish, but we work for the entire universe. We hope to translate it very soon!

We do all kinds of work, but our star service is probably web design and we are very, very happy to only work with Squarespace. Among other things, the great self-management capacity makes it a much more interesting product for many photographers.

Hey there,

I'm an old duffer currently residing in the Midlands of England who has finally got around to going through years upon years upon years of documentary photographic work, archiving the whole lot, it's seemingly endless.  My education background is all photography and arts based.

Admittedly my little portfolio site is not polished, www.lswalker.co.uk I didn't wish or want it to be.  It wouldn't reflect me that way at all, you see I came of age in the 70's, 80's and 90's, I was outside all the time, jumping off high bridges into rivers, throwing myself off cliffs, getting myself caked in dirt, I'm gritty and my work reflects that.   Always been happy with film, never switched to digital cameras although ironically my archive is all being scanned, however, when I shoot, it's still on what the kids now call 'analogue', you kids, you crack me up!  I'm tolerating IG, my handle on there is @thatdeafguysaperture, Instagram is certainly not a patch on what it used to be, a great shame.

Oh aye, there's no current work on my site yet, I work with building narratives and little collections you see and my more contemporary concotions are not ready to be taken out of the cauldrons.  All of my old work was on 35mm, today I use a mix of 35mm and medium format which keeps me out of mischief....... well sometimes...... ok, rarely!

And yeah, I know there's a few glitches with my site, especially on a mobile phone, it's new, I'm 'new' and I'll get there eventually.

So, howdy folks, I'm Lee!

Hello,

I am working on rebuilding my personal website, but I have several others live for clients.

My undergrads are in graphic design, the MFA is in corporate branding, the MS is in Internet Marketing. I do photography, design, brand consulting, print marketing and digital marketing with a niche specialty in nonprofit marketing. I previously taught clients to do as much as they could and when they couldn't go further, I handled the strategic execution.

While I used to do a great deal of consulting, I scaled by in 2016. Now that the kids are nearly grown, I will be rebuilding the site and hitting the ground running again since I miss the diverse clientele of the consulting world.

Nice to meet you all.

Hej there!

I'm Chris, a professional, full self-educated photographer, living in Hamburg, Germany.

I shoot weddings under www.sturmsucht.de and do landscape photography workshop on www.zielecki.com where I'm working on my portrait portfolio pages in the background (or I split them and show them on a separate website - haven't decided yet).

I really enjoy being self-employed, love traveling the North in off-season and share my flat with the best cat in the world.

Here are my social medias:

I am one of the older creators in the group as well... but seems like I am the first artist in the sense of not just graphic and web design, but as an internationally collected painter.  I sell from my personal website... and I have a secondary site for my website and graphic work.  I worked many years ago as head artist for an ad agency and we were still without computers and the last year I was there we had an apple computer!  Days of Dreamweaver... MUSE etc. long gone!

Hi - I'm a lifelong creative, usually with some kind of technological angle to whatever I do.

I've had two totally different focuses recently: VR art and photography, beginning with a series of night photography but recently adding a series taken in the daylight, albeit in the rain.

I've been immersed in the NFT/web3 scene since January 2021 (which is like a decade in that world, lol) and enjoy how it has empowered artists and fans to find each other and create a prosperous ecosystem while also modeling how the tech can work beyond niches into mainstream use.

This platform doesn't support 3D files so I will link to a VR sculpture I made in OpenBrush that's hosted in Sketchfab: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/cubism-in-3dvr-unstoppable-by-gabe-weis-8ec68df04c8d4828aa04472c0945e59e

Here's one of my night shots (taken at almost exactly midnight) available on OpenSea: https://opensea.io/assets/ethereum/0x07c1cbaf0ec33eff69e7430b8564efa15108a662/2

I've attached the other to this message.

I use an iPhone 12 Pro Max with no editing except a tiny bit of rotation to adjust vertical alignment.

I need to make a website for my own art - will definitely use Squarespace!

Happy to answer questions about NFTs from people curious about the space and about exploring ways to monetize their art and find new collectors.

Hi,

I'm an fine artist from New Zealand I primary paint in oils but also make work using textiles. I support my creative work by building Squarespace websites for other creative people under the name Dust + Moss.

I've still got my website services listed on my art website but I'm thinking I'll separate these out in the future. My site is www.ngaioblackwood.com my new site would be www.dustandmoss.com if/when I move forward with a redesign.

It's lovely to meet everyone here. I'm sure my clients will have similar issues so it's great to be able to learn.
